Hometown Amateurs is owned the Karup, a well known label that makes their own brand of porn. The other big site run by Karup is "Karup's Private Collection", which I will endevour to review at another point in time. But, let's talk about Hometown Amateurs!

Amateur porn is a tricky thing. Whilst producers try to make porn as featuring only new or unsigned girls, eventually they resort to employing well known porn stars to fill their photo collections. Karups has a good reputation in the field, and after checking this particular site, I can verify that these girls are in fact amateurs.

A lot of them are shy, next-door types with little experience in the porn industry. But that doesn't mean they aren't sexy. In fact, I am a big fan of amateur porn, simply because what you are seeing is so much more sincere and true to life.

The design of the site is divided up into the two main section: picture and movies. The overall feel of the site is fresh, with navigation and links being easy to follow and I didn't find any broken links. Inside the photo sections, the pix get broken up into six subcategories. This is handy, because browsing the girls by category is fun.

Within the photo selection, each photoshoot contains around 140 pictures. So if there's a photo you really like, don't worry there are plenty more pictures of that scene. The total amount of photosets would be about 4,500. That's a lot of photos, and taking the time to check out each one would take a hell of a long time.

There are solo and lesbians scenes, along with straight sex (one guy one girl). The picture quality is good and available to download in zip sets, which makes viewing them easy.

The movie section has over 1,000 videos, available in the Windows Media Format. These videos are then broken up into smaller clips. Each video probably has between 4-12 clips. Most scenes fit into one clip(file), but some longer scenes are spread over two. In terms of quality, the movies are above the amateur industry average, running at 1500k/sec. The quality of the newer videos is much better than the older ones, which is expected as Hometown Amateurs has been around for over 5 years.One dissapointing thing was that the movies were not sorted by category.

You search for a particular babe using the model index, and streaming is available if you don't need to download the videos. Updates happen 5 times a week.

Overall, I was quite happy with Hometown Amateurs. It has a nice collection of fresh faced babes, and is a true amateur affair.
