Summary
The Pain Files does exactly what it says on the tin. This is the extreme hardcore BDSM I have seen so far, and the warning on the home page should be taken very, very seriously. If BDSM to you, just means ropes and blindfolds: stay away.

My Impression
Content at The Pain Files is divided into Slave Girls, BDSM, Lifestylers, Bastinado and Bondage, and each features some pretty eye-opening stuff. All content is exclusive and there are a few updates every four or five days.

And the content isn’t what you may have come to expect from BDSM sites. There are all the usual suspects: ropes, chains, ball-gags; alongside needle piercing, mousetraps on the tongue, nose hooks, wheel torture, electrocution and all manner of other eye-watering punishments for these submissive girls.

The video collection is the high point of this site. There are forty-seven films, ranging between 15 and 50 minutes in length. They are available to download as WMV or to stream online, and download speeds are fantastic. The resolution quality is excellent and they can easily be watched at full-screen. Some of the older videos are of poorer quality, but none seem to be unwatchable.

There are twenty-four image galleries, each containing around eighty high-res images. They contain the same content as the movies and many are taken in the thick of the action, which is always nice. Unfortunately, some of the images are a little pixelated and unclear and best viewed at smaller sizes.

Bonuses include a link to alt.com, a fetish interest dating site(!) and an email link to allow you to submit pictures of you and/or your partner in BDSM situations.

The only problem here is quite a serious one. The design and layout is distracting and cluttered, the search facilities almost non-existent and there are not even categories to help you find your favourite punishments or models.

Overall
The Pain Files costs $29.95 for thirty-day membership, which is pretty average for a BDSM site. Other than the serious problems with site design and navigation, there is little to criticise here. If you like your bondage extreme, hardcore and very, very painful, this is the site for you.
